Chink Santana

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Originally out of a go-go band from Washington, D.C., Andre Parker, better known as Chink Santana, was an original member of the rap group, CCOC (Cap City Outzyda Clique). When Irv Gotti, CEO of Murder Inc. Records, ran across their independent release, he was very impressed with the production skills of Santana. He was immediately brought on board The Inc. juggernaut. Santana is an R&B musician and producer. His achievements include co-producing Ashanti, the award-winning debut album from the singer of the same name. He also worked on her follow-up, Chapter II, and has recently co-written and produced tracks on Judgement Days, the second album by English singer/rapper Ms. Dynamite. He was also a big part in the making of Jim Jones' popular album Hustler's P.O.M.E. (Product of My Environment).
