However Nick Chavin, sans the Chinga, has made his mark as an Advertising Copy Writer and Creative Director. Having worked at Posner Advertising in New York before joining with Lanny Lambert and forming Chavin Lambert Adv., specializing in Real Estate. All went well for a while until... An attempt to hit the jackpot they bought an established South Florida Ad Agency "Creative Directors" in 1999. Hoping to turn his business into a huge empire, there was talk of world wide dominance & expansion. However while his charm and wit as a Country Porn song writer & performer of "Mamma's Turning Tricks To Throw My Bail" and "Dry Humpin' In The Back Of A '55 Ford" gathered him some fame and fans... his lack of commitment and honesty with clients did him in in South Florida. Within a couple of years the Coral Gables Agency, which had been in business for almost 40 years, started going downhill. Clients dropped them and staff was either let go or left on their own. They shrunk from a staff of 30 to 5 in less than 5 years... even as the Real Estate market boomed in South Florida. They eventually had to merge with another agency in Coral Gables before totally shutting down. Returning to New York, Nick Chavin is once again at Posner Adv. as of September of 2006, with the title of Director, Strategic and Creative Services. Trying to rise once more. Those few that still like the "good" Nick, wish him well... most others who lived his South Florida debacle, probably not.
