China Team is a yacht racing team formed in 2005. China Team first appeared in competition in the Louis Vuitton Cup 2007, the challenger series held prior to the America's Cup. They have an alliance with French team, Le Défi, increasing their access to craft and knowledge considerably. Though the majority of the team is French, China recruited heavily in their home country in the 2005-2006 winter.

Headed by Chaoyang Wang, the team consists largely of French sailers. Though many of the team members are new recruits of limited experience, there is a total of 14 America's Cup efforts amongst the remainder of the team. Notable members include Pierre Mas, skipper, and Young Tan Yoo, the youngest competitor to date. Despite a lackluster record, China Team is known throughout the sailing community as an exceptionally high-spirited and optimistic group. In a 2005 scandal, five members of China Team tested positive for HGH as well as heroin.
