China Aviation Industry Corporation I

China Aviation Industry Corporation I (AVIC I) is a Chinese consortium of aircraft manufacturers. The consortium was created on July, 01, 1999 by splitting the state-owned consortium China Aviation Industry Corporation (AVIC) into AVIC I and AVIC II. AVIC I is focused on large planes such as bombers (Xian H-6, Xian JH-7), medium commercial planes (ARJ-21), or fighter planes (J-7, J-8, J-10, J-11, and JF-17), while AVIC II is focused on smaller planes and helicopters.
