The Chilean mythology, is the mythology and beliefs of the Folklore of Chile.

The Chilean mythology is characterized by to have adopted a multitude of myths and legends of the beliefs of the indigenous towns of the Chilean territory (Mapuche, Tehuelche,...); and others of European origin, mainly of the Spanish colonization of Chile.
This variety of sources of beliefs, has caused that in addition, the fusion of legends or the modification of indigenous legends, being created other new legends; what it has complemented and differentiated the Chilean mythology (example the Chilota mythology).
