Children's food festival

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The first ever UK Children's Food Festival was held in Oxfordshire on 14-15 July 2007. The festival was organised by the Northmoor Trust.

Celebrity chefs Raymond Blanc and Sophie Grigson were festival patrons and held cooking demonstrations to inspire children to cook.

Themed food tents followed an ingredient from field to fork and children had an opportunity to try out smoothie blending, chapati rolling, pasta making, butter churning and pizza tossing.

The Children's Food Festival was held at Abingdon Airfield in Oxfordshire.
