[edit] Synopsis

Rob and Jill Tyler adopt two children, Catherine and Eric. Eric is a sweet and timid child, whereas Catherine at times can come across as being the same, but often displays outbursts of violent rage for no apparent reason, affecting her behavior and interaction with others. Some of the violent acts include smashing her brother's head on the basement floor; stabbing her adoptive father while he sleeps; stabbing the family dog with a bobby pin, and lying to her parents that the dog bit her; and attacking a classmate with a shard of glass.

Jill and Rob are concerned about her behavior and find Dr. Rosemary Myers. Myers examines Catherine and discovers she was abused by her biological father and wants Catherine to overcome this rage. Dr. Myers, Jill, and Rob perform holding therapy for Catherine and at first their attempts seem worthless, but Catherine soon seems to become more at ease as the therapy progresses. The film was made at Mary Hill Elemantery school.
