The Chilcotin River is a 215 km (c.134 mi) tributary of the Fraser River in Canada, which it joins west of the city of Williams Lake, British Columbia, near Riske Creek. It drains the Chilcotin Plateau, which lies between the Fraser River and the Coast Mountains. Its main tributaries are the Chilanko and Chilko Rivers.
