Chihayaakasaka (千早赤阪村 Chihayaakasaka-mura?) is a village located in Minamikawachi District, Osaka, Japan.

As of 2007, the village has an estimated population of 6,299 and a population density of 169 persons per km². The total area is 37.38 km².

This village is known for Chihayaasakusa Castle, where the Battle of Chihayaasakusa Castle occurred in the Medieval era, in the late Kamakura period. Local akuto Kusunoki Masashige won this battle and began his career to become one of the most important and reliable men of Emperor Go-Daigo. Today there is a museum for remembrance on this battle and Kusunokis.

The village is the only remaining village within Osaka Prefecture, and due to reclining tax revenues was contemplating a merger with the surrounding townships of Kanan and Taishi, but talks about a merger broke down because of a conflict of opinions. Now the village is requesting to be annexed by the adjacent city of Kawachinagano.

In 1893, Akasaka, Kumataro Kido and Yagoro Tani murdered 10 people except a murder of infant. They killed themselves after murders.
