The Chihaia River is a tributary of the Tismana River in Romania. It is located in the proximity of the Tismana Monastery. At the source of the river the Chihaia Fountain was constructed in the early 1900s. The fountain soon became a place visited by poet spending their summer in the Tismana area. In the proximity the "Mistery alley" was constructed, leading to a megalitic monument. A botanical park with rare plants was also developed near the fountain.
În 1978 the Chihaia Fountain was destroyed and the river was used for the water supply of the village of Tismana.
