Chiefs is the first novel in the Will Lee series by Stuart Woods. It was first published in 1981 by W. W. Norton Co., Inc. The novel takes place in Delano, Georgia-through a few different generations trying to solve a murder. The story begins the story of the Lee family. It is Woods' first published novel.

Chiefs was made into a miniseries in 1983. It starred Charlton Heston as Hugh Holmes, Keith Carradine as Foxy, Stephen Collins as Billy Lee, and Billy Dee Williams as Tyler Watts. It was nominated for 3 Emmys.
