Kamachi has been in the underground circuit since 1998 and since then, he has released a steady volume of singles and albums. Kamachi creates music that is both street savvy and current while preserving an underlying element of global consciousness. He often raps about the current state of black America with optimism and hope for the future. If nothing else, Kamachi is uncompromising with respect to his thoughts on religion, politics, and the continuing struggle of his people.

[edit] 2000

Cult Status, Kamachi's debut album, was released in 2004 on Good Hands Records. It was well received by fans and critics. The debut single, "The Best" featured legendary Gang Starr MC Guru and was an underground hit, reaching #1 on the College Radio charts. In 2005, Kamachi teamed up with Reef the Lost Cauze, Charon Don and State Store to form The JuJu Mob. The groups critically acclaimed album Black Candles was released on Good Hands Records in May 2005. Kamachi often features members of The JuJu Mob on his solo albums as well. His second solo album, Concrete Gospel followed in 2006.

Army of the Pharaohs also released their debut album, The Torture Papers in 2006.

Kamachi is expected to release a new album and mixtape in the summer of 2007.
