• A type of bird, specifically some North American members of the passerine family Paridae, called chickadees after one of their calls. See black-capped chickadee, mountain chickadee, Carolina chickadee, coal tit.
• "Chickadee", an informal word used in some parts of rural Canada as a familiar or affectionate term of address to a female, or (as a noun) to refer to a girl, especially one with a lively, bold, and forward personality.
• USS Chickadee, a minesweeper in the United States Navy.
• Chickadee (magazine), a Canadian children's magazine
• Chickadees- A 1970's chicken flavoured children's snack, sold in Australia. The jingle for this snack was as follows "Chickadees, Chickadees, they are chicken flavoured and crunchy".
