Chicalim is a census town in South Goa district in the state of Goa, India.

As of 2001 India census,[1] Chicalim had a population of 7604. Males constitute 58% of the population and females 42%. Chicalim has an average literacy rate of 81%, higher than the national average of 59.5%; with male literacy of 86% and female literacy of 75%. 10% of the population is under 6 years of age.
