Chiaverano is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Turin in the Italian region Piedmont, located about 50 km northeast of Turin. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 2,226 and an area of 12.0 km².[1]

The municipality of Chiaverano contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Bienca.

Chiaverano borders the following municipalities: Donato, Andrate, Borgofranco d'Ivrea, Sala Biellese, Torrazzo, Montalto Dora, Burolo, Ivrea, and Cascinette d'Ivrea.
