Talk:Chhattisgarh
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
I shall shortly merge the contents of State of Chhattisgarh with this page. --Bhadani 11:49, 18 March 2006 (UTC)
- Are Khariboli ("Hindi") and Chhattisgarhi co-official in Chhattisgarh? If so, this info should be added to List of languages by number of native speakers. kwami 09:45, 13 April 2006 (UTC)
[edit] "Food habits and lifestyle"
I'm concerned about this subsection. At the very least, I'm not clear on how it is specific to Chhattisgarh - don't other people in nearby states share some of those activities? Also, aren't there lots of people in the state who don't live like that? In short, this section is unencyclopedic as it stands. I think it should be removed entirely, but I hope someone can fix it up, with cited sources, so I won't delete it just now. Other ideas? CDC (talk) 03:39, 16 May 2006 (UTC)
- I've gone ahead and removed this section, for the reasons I described above. CDC (talk) 22:10, 5 July 2006 (UTC)
There are glaring spelling mistakes in the article.. I saw commendeble, rapiddedly ??...
[edit] Per capita income
"The per capita income is around 250 million USD as of 2001" This can't be right. The per capita income of the U.S. is probably between $20,000 and $30,000 USD. If this is correct, I'm moving to Chhattisgarh!122.31.178.226 (talk) 09:47, 15 December 2007 (UTC)
