[edit] Tibet
Hi, it seems you are involved in an edit war with another editor on the Tibet article. Please note that you might violate the 3RR policy and as a result your account might get blocked for some time. It is best to engage with other editor on the talk page of the article and arrive at a consensus. Thanks. Shovon (talk) 15:08, 20 May 2008 (UTC)
[edit] block
Alright I'm blocked for engaging an editing war with Rsazevedo on Tibet. Rsazevedo, and Shovon76 later on, kept adding the unreferenced claim that the Chinese government questioned the demographics research done by Tibetan exile government. Here's the text "The accuracy of this 1959 Tibetan population estimate quoted by the Government of Tibet in Exile has been questioned by the Chinese government." What is happening now is that Rsazevedo is at large, with his untrue edit still on the Tibet page, and I am still banned for removing their unreferenced claim.
[edit] Your edits to Tibet
You've already been blocked once for edit warring. Unless you want to get blocked again, I would highly recommend you start discussing the changes you're making first. There was absolutely nothing wrong with my edits, the english was fine (and to be frank that's a pathetic excuse) and it establish a perfectly neutral point of view. You're trying to remove a noun to make it appear as if the findings of the Tibetan government are in doubt globally. This is not the case. Stop trying to insert your POV into this article. Cumulus Clouds (talk) 22:59, 22 May 2008 (UTC)
- 1. you are the one who makes the change without discussing it: you wrote nothing on the talk page regarding this change, while i wrote something. 2. the Tibetan exile government's claimed number of Tibetans in 3 provinces in 1959 are exactly the same as the numbers in the 1954 census report, except for the fact that those numbers in the 1954 census report is the TOTAL population. Anyone with some basic judgment will be able to tell it is indeed questionable.
See if you can help here. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/Serfdom_in_Tibet Centrallib (talk) 21:59, 27 May 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Final warning
This is your last and only warning for edit warring on Tibet. If you continue to do so you will be blocked. Please read WP:3RR for more information on what is prohibited under Wikipedia policy. Cumulus Clouds (talk) 21:58, 6 June 2008 (UTC)

- Thank you, I'm fully aware of that. And you too. "An editor must not perform more than three reverts, in whole or in part, on a single page within a 24-hour period. A revert means undoing the actions of another editor, whether involving the same or different material each time." chenyangw 22:07, 6 June 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Your recent edits
Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. If you can't type the tilde character, you should click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot (talk) 22:55, 6 June 2008 (UTC)

- "he three revert rule is an electric fence, not an entitlement." then everyone who is undoing my edits should be blocked as well. I made every single edit AFTER writing/responding in the talk page, while some other people don't do that. What will you do if someone undo your edit, and left nothing on the talk page? chenyangw 16:48, 8 June 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Regarding the 1954 population data
Hi Chenyangw, I have seen that in a previous edit in your talk page you have complained about me along with another editor reverting your edits on the Tibet page while you were blocked. Well, to make myself clear, I would like to say that I have not taken anyone's side in the debate. Moreover, the Tibetan Government in Exile's 1959 demography report csn only be questioned using the Chinese Govt's 1954 census report. If you have any queries, please list it here within the time period that you are blocked or in my talk page afterwards. Thanks. Shovon (talk) 17:20, 8 June 2008 (UTC)

- thanks. well, bureau of statistics spend a lot of time and effort to collect the statistics of demographics. This kind of statistics cannot practically be obtained through any other means. That is why tibet.com itself quoted the Chinese 1954 census data -- of course, 'quoted' with the # of tibetan = total population trick. It is quite obvious who is quoting, and misquoting who. If you want some other independent source of the data of the demographics, I don't have any. And by the way, I don't think any other country have this kind of 'independent' demographics data as well.--chenyangw 18:09, 8 June 2008 (UTC)

- MastCell, are you sure that chenyangw is socketpuppet for Foxhunt99? I will take the answer as yes if you do not reply in two days. chenyangw 23:23, 9 June 2008 (UTC)
