[edit] Chester Assizes?

Perhaps some mention can be made why Chester Castle is also referred to as "Chester Assizes" when discussing legal matters RoyBatty42 19:14, 18 February 2007 (UTC)

Because the historic Assizes court was held there. David 21:56, 15 March 2007 (UTC)
