Complications Technically the insertion of a chest tube is creating a pneumothorax, but the suction will relieve that. Pneumothorax is not really a complication of chest tubes, and chest tubes are the treatment for pneumothorax. DocJohnny 18:18, 24 November 2005 (UTC)
