I have been looking for specific sources for the information in the article.

If anyone knows where I could reference the information, I would appreciate it. I know the Aomori Prefectural Museum created some materials when they hosted an exhibit, but I do not have any contacts there anymore.

I contacted the Maine Maritime Museum, but have not received a response from them either.
