Why are people changing the date of her birth? She is clearly close to 40, as her IMDB page attests.

Her imdb page says that she was born in 1973, which would make her closer to 33. Qutezuce 20:04, 30 May 2006 (UTC)
Obviously the IMDB page is wrong. She is old and has wrinkles. I read in a magazine she is close to 40.
Can you provide any sort of reliable source? You don't even seem to be consistent with her age — you edited the article to say she was born in 1973 and then later you wrote 1975, which is it? I think that are are just being a troll. This article from 2005 calls her a "30-year-old". So for now I'm going to side with IMDB and the San Francisco Chronicle unless you can provide some reliable source saying her age is otherwise. Qutezuce 00:52, 31 May 2006 (UTC)

It's wrong. I sent a message to her myspace linked from her official site, and they confirmed that imdb has her birthday wrong.

What I don't get is how she said at least twice on The Chelsea Handler Show that she was 34, but now on Chelsea Lately she's saying she's 32. Fishy...

My Question is This:

  Why the fuck would I care about some half-brained woman's age?  If she wants to keep it a mystery, let her have at it!  A little more work, and she can have you Wiki-wonderboys and girls all in a tizzy.  You could form a secret organziation to get to the truth of Chelsea Handler's age.  You'll join in with the seekers of Bigfoot an The Abomonimable Snowman and Nessey and the Red Phone that goes directly from Satans office to the Office of our Current President...

So, Ms. Handler is a regular on Scarborough Country, and has been on Red Eye w/ Greg Gutfeld? That brings up the question of whether she herself is a conservative.

That doesn't prove much, these days. My conservative Republican parents groan and roll their eyes at the mere mention of Bush! Just about everyone hates him nowadays. And you know what? It couldn't have happened to a better person. . . .
Anyway, the main reason for this edit is to restore my original title for this section. That sentence fragment, tacked on at the end, was irritating to look at, and there was never any content to back it up. Just . . . "And bigot". Strange. If the drive-by editor had turned the title into something better -- more creative, funnier, more insightful, more accurate -- I wouldn't a bit! But I don't like being edited to look stupider.

[edit] Been Hazed by Chelsea

So, after watching Chelsea Lately for a couple episodes, I am convince that the woman is a tried and true ignorant misogynist pig. I have tried to give the woman a chance, but unfortunately time after time she proves to be the late-night talk-show token Frat Boy.

Remarks she has made over the times I have watched her make me think she fears anything not withing her sterile little world. Much like all the rest of the people on E or in the entertainement business, they have so lost touch with reality. Which for a comic is a death-mark

The comic that she uses, sometimes funny, other times downrightoffnesive, is plain trash! I will admit I have laughed to some of her jokes. The gift of joviality is something this woman understands and is quite adept at utilizing.

What lacks is the act of the comic--a role that works as a leader of great numbers of people--to take them into catharsis, allow them to face the ills of the world with a happy face.

But instead, Chealsea Handler spwes out very sexist and very offensive remarks that one would expect from a 16 Year Old Girl who just out of High School in Beverly Hills and now has to walk through West Hollywood to get to work. And it isn't Politically INcorect funny, like Sara Silverman. We are talking more like a new comic in for his first time at the Apollo, having his first shtick a "black joke"...you know the one you wouldn't tell your golf buddies because it was just stupid and the only one that would laugh is the guy who carries a convederate flag wherever he goes...

This woman needs help. As a represenative of the rest of the people on E, they also need help. Please...we need a foundation.
