I removed the edits by 71.247.118.109 as the text was rather incoherent and difficult to follow. I know little of this subject and welcome either the original poster or someone more knowledgeable than I to fix this text and reinsert it:

"cheeranchira is the ancient abode of cheeranchira kannanpally family, karipal family orginaly from nalunnakal vakathanam with sub families, vetikatmattom,kulangara,mundapilamood.thalakulam and edathara family.the name cheeran chira orginated from cheeran's chira [small parcel of land mostly surrounded by water] cheeran might have been a member of the pulaya community."
