[edit] Copyvio

I have deleted the entire section on the organizational structure because it is copied word for word from [1]. C'mon people, you know better than that. If someone else had seen it they might have slapped a copyvio tag on the whole article and that would have tied it up for weeks. 23skidoo 15:02, 6 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Cleanup

Excellent cleanup, but you may need to separate the old and new versions since they served different purposes. Especially the new versions of the Rooks. Tables might help. --Basique 17:32, 26 July 2006 (UTC)

Yeah, I'll be editing this article as I continue to pour over the first Checkmate series. Thanks for the compliment, though. Kusonaga 18:39, 26 July 2006 (UTC)
I wonder if the current series should be a separate article. Thoughts? 23skidoo 20:52, 26 July 2006 (UTC)
I think you have even room here for it all, you'll just need to section the page, upper half for the old series and lower half for the new one. Best to do it now though, later on it's going to be a pain. --Basique 21:03, 26 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Done with my cleanup

I do dare say I've done my bit. Kusonaga 11:03, 27 July 2006 (UTC)

I love it. Thank you. -- Jeffrywith1e 12:39, 27 July 2006 (UTC)
Excellent job sir, very good show! --Basique 14:32, 27 July 2006 (UTC)
Thanks for the praise. Next up... Suicide Squad. Kusonaga 15:27, 27 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Arsenal - Freelance Op or Agent?

We have Arsenal listed as a Freelance Operative of Checkmate, but according to his page he was an agent. Anyone have a reference for this? Was he a full fledged Knight? Is there a difference in terminology? Also, it looks like he was an agent of Checkmate before he took the name Arsenal. -- Jeffrywith1e 22:08, 3 August 2006 (UTC)

Y'see, I'm not sure of that. He was an actual regular agent of Checkmate but I'm not sure if he was a Knight or not. --Kusonaga 04:29, 4 August 2006 (UTC)
He was a knight, had the uniform mask and all. He started out as a freelancer though. --Basique 13:49, 5 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Amanada Waller

Amanda mandated the Agency that became Checkmate, she hired Valentina Vostok and then Harry Stein to run it. That predates her Checkmate appearances. --Basique 11:37, 25 November 2006 (UTC)

Harry Stein creates Checkmate in Action Comics #598. --Basique 11:41, 25 November 2006 (UTC)
What exactly is your point? This article isn't about the Agency, it's about Checkmate. That would mean that she and Stein created Checkmate in Action Comics #598. Awesome, that's relevant info. First appearance, unless that's also the issue in which that person joins Checkmate (or has a connection to Checkmate) is irrelevant. Kusonaga 12:27, 25 November 2006 (UTC)
