Talk:Chebyshev rational functions

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I have found what I believe are some minor math errors. Please check my work. In particular, I don't think the orthogonality norms have n2 in them, and I believe the integral has to be from zero to infinity.

I have also worked through Chebyshev's equation for Tn to get a version for Rn. It works for R0 and R1. I will check it some more.

Having the function to be expanded only defined for positive arguments makes the notion of the Lp space L^2_\omega somewhat problematical. We can only expand the right half plane of the function. Is there a "correct" way of expressing this? William Ackerman 00:52, 28 July 2006 (UTC)
