This image is taken from the Web site http://www.warheroes.ru/hero/hero.asp?Hero_id=297. They in turn scanned it from a Soviet book called "Heroes of the Soviet Union: Brief Biographical Dictionary". Under Soviet policy, all images in that book are in the public domain, and may be used and copied freely.
