[edit] Album information
The album was released in USA on March 9, 1999 for the record company Interscope and peaked at #57 in the Billboard 200. In Europe the CD was made available an import version a few months later and peaked at #2 in the Danish albums chart. In November, the compilation The Greatest Hits was released outside North America. If I Could Turn Back Time: Cher's Greatest Hits has sold more than 2 million copies worldwide since its release. The album was originally released with a remix of "Don't Come Cryin' To Me," a track that was recorded for the Heart of Stone album, but the track was later removed per Cher's personal request.
