Chevy Chase Section Three is a village in Montgomery County, Maryland, United States. It was originally organized as a Special Tax District in 1916 and later incorporated as a village in 1982. The population was 773 at the 2000 census.

Chevy Chase Section Three is located at (38.979043, -77.072948)[1].
According to the United States Census Bureau, the village has a total area of 0.1 square miles (0.3 km²), all of it land.

As of the census[2] of 2000, there were 773 people, 272 households, and 221 families residing in the village. The population density was 6,764.8 people per square mile (2,713.2/km²). There were 276 housing units at an average density of 2,415.4/sq mi (968.8/km²). The racial makeup of the village was 94.05% White, 0.39% African American, 0.13% Native American, 1.68% Asian, 1.81% from other races, and 1.94% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 5.43% of the population.
There were 272 households out of which 46.0% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 74.6% were married couples living together, 5.1% had a female householder with no husband present, and 18.4% were non-families. 16.5% of all households were made up of individuals and 10.3% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.84 and the average family size was 3.18.
In the village the population was spread out with 29.9% under the age of 18, 3.0% from 18 to 24, 24.2% from 25 to 44, 29.0% from 45 to 64, and 14.0% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 41 years. For every 100 females there were 90.9 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 87.5 males.
The median income for a household in the village was $150,000, and the median income for a family was $162,659. Males had a median income of $100,000 versus $60,313 for females. The per capita income for the village was $76,392. About 0.9% of families and 1.3% of the population were below the poverty line, including none of those under the age of eighteen or sixty-five or over.

Residents are zoned to Rosemary Hills Elementary School (PreK-2), Chevy Chase Elementary School (3-6), Westland Middle School, and Bethesda-Chevy Chase High School.
