Chevitikallu

Chevitikallu is a village on the bank of Krishna River. This village belongs to Kanchikacherla Mandal. Amaravathi. a famous place known in Buddhism in Andhra Pradesh, exists on the other side of river Krishna. It takes only 30 to 60 minutes to get there, depending on the mode of transport used. People also walk there when there are no waters in the adjacent layer of the river. Agriculture is the main occupation of many of the people in Chevitikallu. But in recent times, most of the farmers and their families are migrating to Mandal capital Kanchikacherla, especially for their children's studies and to do business.
