Chet A. Wynne

Chester Allen Wynne (born 1898-11-23 in Long Island, Kansas) was an American football player and coach. He played college football at the University of Notre Dame where he played fullback from 1920 thru 1922 [1][2][3].
Wynne played professionally for the Rochester Jeffersons of the National Football League [4][5].
Wynne was head coach at Auburn University from 1930 to 1933 where he compiled a 22-15-2 record, including a 9-0-1 record in 1932 (winning the Southern Conference title). He then coached at the University of Kentucky from 1934 to 1937. During his tenure at Kentucky he compiled a 20-19-0 record.
