Cheswardine is a rural village and civil parish in North East Shropshire about 8 miles north of Newport and 5 miles south east of Market Drayton. It has a population of around 1000 people, and has a primary school, village shop, and St Swithun's Church, as well as two village pubs. However, the local post office was forced to close down in 2006 to be turned into a residential building. It has become runners up in Britain in Bloom several times. It is also home to MBE award winner Winnie Goodwin who also stared in the Muller advert.
It lies close to the border with Staffordshire.
