The Chestnut-breasted Negrofinch (Nigrita bicolor) is a common species of estrildid finch found in Africa. It has an estimated global extent of occurrence of 3,000,000 km².

Chestnut-breasted Negrofinch inhabits subtropical/ tropical (lowland) forest, mangrove and shrubland habitats of Angola, Benin, Cameroon, Central African Republic, the Republic of Congo, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Côte d'Ivoire, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon, Gambia, Ghana, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Liberia, Mali, Nigeria, São Tomé and Príncipe, Senegal, Sierra Leone, Togo & Uganda. The status of the species is evaluated as Least Concern.
