The Chestnut-backed Scimitar-babbler (Pomatorhinus montanus) is a species of bird in the Timaliidae family. It is found in Brunei, Indonesia, Malaysia, and Thailand. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests and subtropical or tropical moist montanes.
