Cheryl Stark (née Kratz) was a fictional character in the Australian soap opera Neighbours, played by Caroline Gillmer from 1993 until the character's death in 1996. Colette Mann took over the role in late 1995 to early 1996 while Gillmer was ill.
[edit] Character bios.
Cheryl entered in 1993. She was Lou Carpenter's girlfriend, and in 1994, Cheryl's daughter, Shannon Louise "Lolly" Carpenter, supposedly Lou's child, was born. In 1996 Cheryl saved 2-year-old Lolly from an oncoming car, but was hit by the car herself. Doctor Karl Kennedy accidentally gave Cheryl a morphine injection whilst trying to save Cheryl's life. This injection killed her.
