- Chervona Ruta (meaning "red rue", ruta — sweet-scented plant) — Ukrainian folkloric legend of redening of rue on the night of Ivan Kupala.
- Chervona Ruta (song), in Ukrainian language, written in 1968 by composer Volodymyr Ivasyuk. The first performer of Chervona Ruta became Sofia Rotaru - soloist of the same name musical band Chervona Ruta (ensemble), directed by Volodymyr Ivasyuk. In the honour of the song were named:
