Cheruvannur is a census town in Kozhikode district in the state of Kerala, India.

As of 2001 India census,[1] Cheruvannur had a population of 57,111. Males constitute 49% of the population and females 51%. Cheruvannur has an average literacy rate of 82%, higher than the national average of 59.5%; with male literacy of 84% and female literacy of 80%. 13% of the population is under 6 years of age.
