Cherry Orchard and Parkwest railway station

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Cherry Orchard and Parkwest railway station, formerly Cherry Orchard station, opened on 16 May 1994[1], serves the Dublin areas of Cherry Orchard, Parkwest and parts of Ballyfermot in Dublin

In mid 2007, construction is due to commence on a new station at Park West, 900m to the west of the existing station, and the new station will eventually replace the existing Cherry Orchard station when it opens in 2008. The design of the new station is expected to be very similar to the new station at Adamstown, with a virtually identical arrow shaped fabric roof.
