Cherry Lane Township, Alleghany County, North Carolina

Cherry Lane Township is one of seven townships in Alleghany County, North Carolina, United States. The township had a population of 1,625 according to the 2000 census.
Geographically, Cherry Lane Township occupies 40.63 square miles in southeastern Alleghany County. The township's eastern border is with Surry County and the southern border is with Wilkes County. There are no incorporated municipalities within the township, however there are smaller unincorporated communities located here, including the communities of Cherry Lane and Roaring Gap.
