Cherry Filter (체리필터) formed in 1997 when three men and one girl formed an obscure Korean rock band that played in clubs before "hitting it big". The unique sound - comprised of emotional ballads, punk rock, rave and trance - prevalent in their last two albums has given them fame across the world. The song "낭만 고양이" (Nang Man Go Yang Ee, or 'Romantic Cat') from the album Made In Korea made Cherry Filter famous.

The band includes Cho Youjeen as the vocalist - who branched off into a successful solo career for 2 years in Japan, then returned back to Cherry Filter - Jojinbo on guitar, Yaenhead on bass, and Sonstar on drums.
