Cherasco is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Cuneo in the Italian region Piedmont, located about 50 km southeast of Turin and about 40 km northeast of Cuneo. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 7,624 and an area of 81.2 km².[1]
The municipality of Cherasco contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Roreto, Bricco de' Faule, Veglia, Cappellazzo, San Bartolomeo, San Giovanni, and Sant'Antonino.
Cherasco borders the following municipalities: Bra, Cavallermaggiore, Cervere, La Morra, Marene, Narzole, and Salmour.
