Cher Calvin (b. August 1, 1974) is now one of the news anchors of KTLA.[1] She was born in New York City, New York) to both Filipino parents where her father is half-white American. Cher took the spot in January, 2005. She was a former news anchor of Studio 23's "News Central" (Studio 23, UHF channel of ABS-CBN Broadcasting Corporation, Manila Philippines) and one of the host of a fashion magazine show "F" on ABS-CBN.[1]

The former Miss New York runner-up possessed the natural charm to blend into the on-air banter with co-news anchor Emmett Miller and weatherman Mark Kriski, who injects fun into the most static weather on the continent.

She comes to KTLA from KVVU Fox 5 in Las Vegas, Nevada, where she was an anchor for "Fox 5 News This Morning." She filled a vacant anchor spot vacated by Sharon Tay. Cher Calvin has an Emmy award and two Golden Mike awards since she has been at KTLA.
