Cheong Soo Pieng

Cheong Soo Pieng (simplified Chinese: 钟四宾; pinyin: Zhōng Sìbīn; born 1917 in Fujian, China; died 1983 in Singapore) was a Singaporean artist. He studied art at Xiamen Academy of Art and attended the Xin Hua Art Academy in Shanghai. He moved to Singapore in 1946. In 1962, the Government of Singapore awarded Cheong Soo Pieng the Meritorious Service Medal.
