Chennai Challenge

Chennai Challenge is a Charitable organization[1]
that aims to help disadvantaged communities in Chennai, South India. They send a team each year to visit Chennai for three and a half weeks in order to try and make a difference. They work closely with Madras YMCA.

As stated on the Central Register of Charities, the object of Chennai Challenge is
“ | The relief of poverty in Chennai in particular by supporting the charitable work of YMCA Madras. To advance in life people through providing activities which develop their skills capacities and capabilities to enable them to participate in society as mature and responsible individuals. | ” |
