Chen Kun

This is a Chinese name; the family name is Chen.

Chen Kun () is a Chongqing-born Chinese actor and singer. Born on February 4, 1976 in Chongqing, Sichuan, China. He also goes by another name, Aloys. One of his most known roles to the international audiences was in Balzac and the Little Chinese Seamstress (film). Nowadays he resides in Beijing.

Many people only see Chen Kun as an actor, but after the success of his first album, Osmosis in 2004, he transitioned himself into a professional singer and was received widely by fans and critics. Recently Chen Kun released his second album, To Come True Again in May of 2006 singing R&B for the first time.

He has enjoyed success in both acting and singing. He was first a singer of traditional Chinese songs, and then went to Drama university to become an actor. After graduating he has gotten roles in many films and dramas, becoming one of China's most sought after young actors.

In 2008, he had participated in the Hong Kong series produced by TVB known as C'est La Vie, Mon Cheri also known as Endless Love with the Fiona Sit as him love interest in the series.
