Chen Hong (Chinese: 陈宏; pinyin: Chén Hóng; born November 28, 1979 in Fujian province) is a male badminton player from the People's Republic of China.

Chen played badminton at the 2004 Summer Olympics in men's singles, defeating Kenneth Jonassen of Denmark and Lee Chong Wei of Malaysia in the first two rounds. In the quarterfinals, Chen was defeated by Shon Seung-mo of South Korea 10-15, 15-4, 15-10. He has also won the All-England Champioships 2 times and the China Open twice. In the 2006 World Badminton Championships he defeated Taufik Hidayat in the quarterfinals round. His progress ended in the semifinals where he lost to his younger compatriot Lin Dan. He has lost in the All England finals twice, in 2001 to India's Pullela Gopichand and in 2003 to Muhammad Hafiz Hashim. He is married and is planning to retire from badminton in 2007.
