Chemmanathukara is a small place in Vaikom Village, Kottayam District, Kerala,India. There are two communities here, Hindus and Christians. They live in good harmony. There are two main temples ie Chemmanathu 'Krishna Temple'and 'Muruga Temple' and one main Church. It is part of T.V Puram Panchayat(Thirumani Venkitapuram Panchayat). Padmanabha Pillai was the first male graduate and M. Nalinikutty Amma was the first female graduate from the area. Padmanbha Pillai became a Judge and Nalini Kutty became Head mistress in NSS School.
