A local divine temple of the "Lord ChennaKesava" with unique old-age back history and The Sankranti festival is best celebrated by thousands of devotees.

The Chejerla was ruled by various dynasties such as Chalukyas, Reddys.

Chejerla is 55 km from Nellore. Somasila is 18 km from Chejerla largest Water Reservoir .
