[edit] Facilities

Chefornak Airport has one runway (16/34) measuring 2,500 x 28 ft. (762 x 9 m), with a gravel and dirt surface.[1] A new airstrip has been built further out from the village due to concerns with the proximity of the current airstrip to the school and pedestrian traffic, however, the runway must settle for several years before it is ready to be used.
