Che Arthur is a singer/songwriter who currently resides in Austin, Texas. He is also a sound engineer/tour manager who has worked on tours with such bands as Minus the Bear, Pelican, Don Caballero, Trans Am, Thursday, Cursive, The Black Heart Procession, Jets to Brazil, and many more.
Born in Mobile, Alabama, Arthur played guitar, keyboards, bass, and drums in numerous Southern U.S. touring rock bands. In the mid-90s he moved to Chicago, where he played guitar in the band Universal Life and Accident, in which he was the singer and principal songwriter, and later in Atombombpocketknife.
As a member of Atombombpocketknife, Arthur was a part of two of the band's three full-length releases, God Save the ABPK and Lack and Pattern.
When that band's schedule slowed, Arthur recorded and released his debut solo effort, All Of Your Tomorrows Were Decided Today, on Chicago-based Flameshovel Records. Arthur played all of the instruments on this recording except the drums, which were performed by his old Universal Life and Accident bandmate Adam Reach.
Arthur's second album, Iron, was released March 6, 2007 on Sick Room Records.
