CHEQ-FM

CHEQ-FM is a French-language Canadian radio station located in Sainte-Marie-de-Beauce, Quebec.
Owned and operated by 9079-3670 Québec inc. (an independent private company), it broadcasts on 101.3 MHz with an effective radiated power of 4,677 watts (class A) using an omnidirectional antenna.
The station has a full service format and it identifies itself as FM 101.3. It originally went on the air as an AM station and broadcasted on 1360 kHz. The station's original call sign, CJVL, was abandoned when the station moved to FM in 1998; the FM transmitter went on the air on November 29, 1998. [1] The call sign CHEQ-FM was previously used by a station in Smiths Falls, Ontario, now known as CKBY-FM.
