I originally cut-and-pasted many messages from my talk pages and responded to them on the other editors talk page. Today I went through my talk page's history and restored things that were initiated by the other person. I either restored the full conversation or noted where the full conversation can be found.--Chaser T 23:12, 18 July 2006 (UTC)

You tagged this as an article for deletion. As a category, it should however go to WP:CFD. LambiamTalk 01:58, 16 April 2006 (UTC)

The user removed your afd tag, though in this case it may make sense to stick with speedy; it's already been deleted several times, and doesn't have a prayer in AFD. OhNoitsJamieTalk 23:25, 10 May 2006 (UTC)
Wikipedia:WikiProject U.S. Supreme Court cases
If the project is sleeping my advice is to wake it up! Make it your own - find people who work on SCOTUS cases and message them to get involved (or re-involved) in the project! As for the infoboxes, those really are more friendly to lawyers than lay persons, but we should also strive for consistency. Mention your concern to Postdlf, as he has been most involved in them, and start a conversation on the topic on the aforementioed project's talk page. Cheers! BD2412 T 13:04, 11 May 2006 (UTC)
Withdrawing on AFD
You more-or-less did so already, but if you just write "I'd like to withdraw the nomination" or something similar, that should do it. -Hit bull, win steak 18:48, 11 May 2006 (UTC)

Hi, I deprodded this an userfied it. You can be bold and just do that kind of thing yourself... but if you want something to end up with some other fate than deletion, WP:PROD really isn't the best way to go about it, because it always ends in deletion. I'm going to mark the redirect for speedy deletion now. Cheers! Mangojuicetalk 20:49, 15 May 2006 (UTC)
Talk: Boxipuss
This page does appear in yahoo and if you took more time before jumping to a conclusion you might of realised that it was up for deletion but then was unselected following a discussion. If you want some evidence I recomend you to talk to User Porge. I am also not stating the Boxipuss ever exist however it is for sure a popular myth throughout Malaysia. Yours Sincerely --Dr. Alan Sieve 07:39, 24 May 2006 (UTC)
Hypno-Chip Article
Hypno-Chip can't be it's own article, but Energo sword and Wash'n'Roll can? Dr Archeville 19:17, 24 May 2006 (UTC)
- I did merge Hypno-Chip rather quickly after you created it. It might merit a stand-alone if it had more content, IMHO. Were you planning on adding more? I wouldn't object to recreating the page if you're going to expand upon it. As to the other articles you mentioned, I didn't notice them when I merged Hypno-Chip. Seeing them now, I'd say that the Energo Sword article could be safely merged into Dinobots, but the Wash'n'Roll article better stands alone. --Chaser (T) 19:41, 24 May 2006 (UTC)

Regarding deletion of article on N.Nagaraja (M.T.B.)
I would like to comment on what RHaworth has told regarding MTB Nagaraj. Please go to google search and type in MTB Nagaraj you will get latest information about him. B.N.BacheGowda has been defeated in the 2004 Assembly election in Hoskote Constituency which comes under Bangalore District North. But Mr.RHaworth Sir has told that a web page has mentioned that B.N.BacheGowda has won, yes it is true but it was in 1999 Assembly election and not in 2004 assembly election as said by the author. And Regarding leaving space after fullstop it will be corrected and I am sorry for the same. I hope now the things will be cleared.

SCOTUS Project
Hey,
Though I've been inactive for quite some time due to work and school involvement, it's summertime, and I am ready to dive back into the swing of things. I've already begun writing up the Garcetti_v._Ceballos opinion that has just issued (though I should probably slap a maintenace template onto the page to that effect), and I am looking forward to contributing more. I've skimmed the new talk page over at the SCOTUS Project, but I'll confess that I have not had time to read it thoroughly. Have you guys reached a concensus on what constitutes proper formatting?
At any rate, I look forward to working with you guys. Please let me know if there are any collaborative projects I could lend a hand with. Cheers. RidG Talk 00:26, 31 May 2006 (UTC)
- Awesome! I took the initiative of sticking a note on the empty Garcetti page. We haven't figured out format, but by all means, join the discussion. I'd say either the one up there now or the "sample outline" referenced on the talk page would do nicely. --Chaser (T) 02:23, 31 May 2006 (UTC)
-
- Thanks for putting up the notice, but it looks like someone else has already done a decent job of writing up the opinion. Oh well. I guess I'll work on the dissent.
- It looks like in absence of others, you are leading the SCOTUS project, so I wanted to ask briefly what you had in mind for the project's future. I like the idea about the US Govt. portals, and I would be happy to help with that. Is there anything else you had in mind?
Dataworks Plus AfD
Hang on, nevermind my message below. It seems I can edit sections but am not able to edit entire articles. I have entered my vote, and I see VeriPic is a redlink so presumably someone has caught it already. Zunaid 07:37, 1 June 2006 (UTC)
Hi. For some bizarre reason I cannot edit any pages on Wikipedia (Firefox and IE both keep prompting me to "save" or "open" any files with a .php extension instead of processing it properly like they used to). Could you please enter my vote into the Afd debate? p.s. VeriPic (capital P) should now be speedily deleted as a duplicate of an already deleted article, could you please do the nomination? The DPM into DAM merge will likely find no objectors so you could probably merge it and cut the adcruft after say a week. Thanks!

User talk:ShortJason/Publicity
I posted a new proposal at User talk:ShortJason/Publicity that would allow users to opt-in to RfA alerts, and specify the nominees they would be interested in. This would prevent indiscriminate "spamming" and subjectivity in deciding who to warn about. Given your previous message on the topic, I wondered if you would like to comment, or even sign up? - 2 reasons. I wasn't sure if you knew it was there and thought it should stay and I was fixing the link at Moose Lake, Manitoba to avoid the redirect. And of course fixing my inability to correctly spell Manitoba at Lamb Air, which for some reason I keep spelling Manitobia. I should make a redirect for that just for me. About the Category:Wikipedia Sock Puppet Master
From the CfD for Category:Wikipedia Sock Puppet Master. I hope you can clear this up. I am interested in what potential for abuse is, it is just not clear to me. I am willing to happily admit that the category is not necessary to the function of wikipedia and if it is a threat to wikipedia should be promptly deleted, but I can not see clearly what the threat or potential for abuse would be. Thanks, blue520 02:42, 7 June 2006 (UTC)
- Hi, can you reconsider the withdrawal. I was about to change my comment from week keep to delete, the only reason that I am a part of the category as it was associated with the now deleted Template:User Puppet Master (the user box) here is the deletion log. I can now see besides being non necessary there is a good chance that it will be used by disruptive users or users who intend to disrupt. --blue520 05:51, 7 June 2006 (UTC)

Teams sponsored by NIKE
You said that this page "Teams sponsored by NIKE" needed to be changed to List of Teams sponsored by NIKE.. Im the creator of that page, and I made a new article List of teams sponsored by Nike. I hope you are happy now. --Yu5uF 15:31, 8 June 2006 (UTC)
- To me, the main issue right now is whether it should even be kept. I proposed it's deletion because I thought it was listcruft, or an indiscriminate list of information with little use to readers. Since it's a proposed deletion, you can remove the notice within five days of its placement to prevent deletion. Of course, I would then take it to Articles for deletion, where it would get discussed (and you could defend it) before an administrator decides if it should be deleted. I'm sorry I don't think the page you contributed to the encyclopedia is valuable. It is nothing personal, though it inevitably sometimes feels that way.--Chaser T 19:36, 8 June 2006 (UTC)

BetandWin
Hey dude, remember you thought I was acting in bad faith writting about casinoroom.com on another page and we decided that "if casinoroom is wholly owned by betandwin, it ought to be written about on that page" well since then I've been writting about or at least trying to write about HoldemPoker, (yes if you hadn't guessed by now I like, love Poker, write about what your passionate right?, by the way cool article about the erie canal!) anyhow everytime I simply write a short pargraph about HoldemPoker which is a brand ran by Ongame, just like casinoroom or pokerroom, someone called 2005 simply removes it, I dont understand why, surrely the whole point of wikipedia is to be as consice as we can be about everything right? HoldemPoker is another brand, deleting it because it belongs to a larger company is nonscence right? It would be like deleting a part of Lincoln because it belongs to Ford right? Anyway can you help/suggest anything, thx!—Preceding unsigned comment added by Davidlightman (talk • contribs)
- The problem is any new page on a gambling website is likely to fail a notability guideline, Wikipedia:Notability (web). I'd recommend reading the guideline thorougly, doing a first draft of any new page in an outside text editor first, and then posting it to wikipedia if you really think it meets the guideline and evidence of that is in the article itself. Otherwise, it's likely to be deleted. If the website is part of a bigger company, consider adding mention of the website to the company's article.--Chaser T 19:14, 12 June 2006 (UTC)

character stubs
Cool Cat, why are you creating all these Air character stubs like Michiru? WP:FICT suggests characters be discussed in the article about the show unless the content is too long to justify, which doesn't seem to be the case here.--Chaser T 08:52, 15 June 2006 (UTC)
- Take a deep breath and wait a day or two...
- I was requested to create a template for characters and went ahead and created the stubs as well. Michiru for example is very important to the plot of the anime and has apeared in multiple episodes...
- Also Wikipedia:Notability (fiction) is not a policy but a guideline, it is a recomendation not a rule.

Regarding [2]; yes, WP:BITE was actually a concern of mine while doing the nom. I assume you of course are referring to User:Nick Warburton, the author of the bios; Wild Cherries has been around for almost a year. I considered for a bit and decided not to confront the user; the nomination is directed towards an article he/she did not write, so there's less pressure towards him/her feeling as if he/she did something wrong, and also the account has been registered for two months, which I figure is enough time for him/her to at least venture into projectspace once or twice. Didn't think a jumpstart into getting a taste of process would be a bad idea; might even be encouraging. Just my thoughts. ~ PseudoSudo 08:52, 19 June 2006 (UTC)
- Oh, he's not as new as I thought. I caught the page in new page patrol and it looked like he had created all of them. In any case, yes, experiencing the process would be a good idea for him. Thanks for your well-reasoned and courteous message.--Chaser T 08:57, 19 June 2006 (UTC)
Wild Cherries
I have added references to the article. This band was a pioneer on the Australian music scene in the late 60's of pyschedelic rock and was featured in episode 3 of a documentary on the history of Australian rock music Long Way to the Top. [3]. In particular, Lobby Loyde is a member of notable Australian rock bands The Purple Hearts and Billy Thorpe and the Aztecs and briefly of [[Rose Tattoo. Redirecting it to regular Sunkist defeats the entire purpose of making the article.
- Excuse me?! How rude of you! I made a perfectly reasonable redirect (I note that Diet Dr. Pepper also redirects, despite its unique advertising campaign) and then notified you of the change. Prod tags
I have no objection to the Prod tag you placed on Kings Park Administration building, that is I support deletion. It even refers to the wrong park!?! However, I note you failed to advise the contributer who is new to the Wikipedia (or to welcome him/her). The instructions at Wikipedia:Proposed_deletion#Nominating_a_proposed_deletion suggest "Consider ... letting the article's creator know that you have tagged it.
